Location: Reading, UK
DevOps Engineer
In the role of DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for introducing, extending and continually improving the usage of advanced DevOps tools and processes across our client solutions. This will include automated testing, build management, release management, cloud deployment (primarily Azure).
Your time will be split equally between collaborating with our dedicated support team and internal development function (Agile/Scrum)
Requirements
- DevOps background and experience driving collaborative culture (minimum of 2 years DevOps experience)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS). AWS also desirable.
- Creating and maintaining highly available systems with disaster recovery / failover provisions.
- Understanding of networks, firewalls, load balancing, server farms.
- Monitoring (e.g. Application Insights).
- Application development, technical architecture or application support experience in an agile / continuous delivery environment.
- Good understanding of distributed source control systems, preferably Git / Microsoft DevOps.
- A proven background in software development on the Microsoft stack / .NET (minimum of 3 years experience).

Job type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000 – 50,000 per annum (based on experience)
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
